Your Life Your Story is a civic and social organisation based in Wigan that brings together care-experienced adults and caregivers to share and develop their stories.

The organisation provides a safe, non-judgmental space where participants can learn and practise storytelling techniques, led by care-experienced facilitators who are paid fairly for their work.

The organisation runs training, workshops, and talks alongside an annual free residential event supported by sponsors and donors. It operates on the principle that care experience—whether involving harm or healing, struggle or strength—deserves to be heard and honoured without explanation or pity.
